Improved Quality of Life

Tell us what your condition was and how your life was being affected when you first came to our clinic: “For the past 25 years I have suffered with back pain and relied on injections for relief. My quality of life was constant pain, bad form, unable to do everyday tasks. Climbing the stairs was one step at a time. I needed at least 10-15 minutes each morning to be able to get out of bed and start moving. Even on short walks my back would seize, lock and leave me paralysed for a few minutes. I could not move. When my neck started to give me trouble and keep me awake with a hot burning pain I knew I had to look for more help and this was when I saw an advert for Glanmire Chiropractic Clinic and I decided I would give it a go.
What has changed in your life since beginning treatment:“I started treatment eight weeks ago, since then the pain in my neck is almost gone. That burning hot sensation is completely gone and so have the headaches. My back has improved so much. I now have only a dull pain when standing or sitting for too long. I can now climb stairs in a normal stride and I can get out of bed and walk within a minute. Over the last two weeks I have had no back seizures or paralysis.”
Additional Comments:“I can’t believe how much I have improved and can tolerate more treatments and exercises. My quality of life is so much better and I get a full night sleep now. It has taught me how to rest, look after my back and sit up straight. At the same time, I have freedom from pain and a lot more movement. I still have a way to go before I’ll have complete freedom of pain and full movement but I know now I have chosen the right path in Chiropractic Care. I will be forever grateful to Dr Eric Kelly.”

Tell us what your condition was and how your life was being affected when you first came to our clinic: I was very slow getting out of bed. I had pain into my leg and back.
What has changed in your life since beginning treatment: I’m very pleased with myself. Getting our of bed is much easier. I’m a lot fitter and out of pain. It’s great!!

Happy with Visits
I am very happy with my visits to the Glanmire Chiropractic Clinic from the consultants to the receptionists.
Tell us what your condition was and how your life was being affected when you first came to our clinic: Stiff neck and pain and discomfort across my shoulders.
What has changed in your life since beginning treatment: Pain and discomfort relieved. I have not needed to take pain relief and my headaches are also gone. It has most definitely improved my day to day well being.
Additional Comments: I am attending Dr. Hogan, who I have found to be most friendly and helpful. I was never rushed during my consultations and also found her to be very attentive to my concerns. All in all I am very happy with my visits to the Glanmire Chiropractic Clinic from the Consultants to the Receptionists.

Continue to Get Better
Tell us what your condition was and how your life was being affected when you first came to our clinic: I couldn’t stand out of bed with back pain, I had to slide out and almost fall on the floor. I had great difficulty getting in and out of the car. I thought I was in serious trouble.
What has changed in your life since beginning treatment: I am now on a maintenance programme and have no pain whatsoever. The relief started on my second visit and I continued to get better by the day.
Additional Comments: Dr. Kelly explained everything from the onset. He told me he could not bring my body back to that of a twenty year old but he could hopefully give me relief and maintain me pain free. He has done this and I feel great.

I would highly recommend this clinic
Tell us what your condition was and how your life was being affected when you first came to our clinic: I had periodic crippling pain in between my hips and knee, alternating between the left and right in no set order. These bouts of pain lasted for a few seconds only but weakened the affected area greatly in that there was a sensation of not being able to remain standing for the duration of the pain period.
What has changed in your life since beginning treatment: My back and associated muscle tissue etc have improved greatly from a deteriorative condition which prevailed before I began treatment.
Additional Comments: I have no hesitation in expressing my gratitude and appreciation to Dr Hogan and Dr Kelly of Glanmire Chiropractic Clinic and to the administrative staff for their high standard of treatment for patients/clients. I would highly recommend this clinic to anybody who is in need of a clinic/treatment which surpasses similar establishments.

Tell us what your condition was and how your life was being affected when you first came to our clinic: Could not walk, run or bend.
What has changed in your life since beginning treatment: When I came I had pain in my lower back. I had pain all the time. My life has changed so much since I started my treatment. I can walk, run, bend, and walk up stairs. I have no pain. It is so good I am pain free. Thank you very much.
Additional Comments: Everyone is so good the Doctors and the staff. They are so helpful all the time.

Received Excellent Treatment

What has changed in your life since beginning treatment: Walking more comfortable and longer distances.
Additional Comments: Very helpful and cheery receptionist. Found Doctor explained problems very good and received excellent treatment.

Helpful Chiropractor
Tell us what your condition was and how your life was being affected when you first came to our clinic: I could not sleep with the constant pain down my left leg, which affected my whole quality of life. I was also experiencing pain in my lower back and tightness between my shoulders.
What has changed in your life since beginning treatment: Over the last 9 months I have been receiving intensive treatment, this now has been reduced. The pain in my leg is completely gone and the other various discomforts continue to improve.
Additional Comments: I have learnt that one has to work with the chiropractor to achieve success. A chiropractor can only help if you help yourself. Also if you have had problems building up over the years you cannot expect them to be sorted in a few months.
Reception are always warm and welcoming.
